A Very James Christmas!

Hi, everyone!
Last Saturday, it really started to seem like Christmas was coming. Grandpa got the Christmas tree out of the garage to put it up. Guess what? The water in the bin around the tree was frozen! Grandpa had to break it up with a hammer before we could put the stand on the tree. EUS and I helped Grandpa make sure the tree was standing up straight, then we unwound the baling string. Apples, Apples, Apples!

Hi everyone!
Even more of the trees are turning color now, and we have lots of leaves falling out of the trees. The apples are getting ripe, too, and I had a very apple week! Last Sunday, the Young Families from Grandma and Grandpa’s church came out to Sodus to pick apples at Crackerbox Palace (Alasa Farms). I got to see my friends Lyla and Nina and Patrick and Lily and Hannah again! Continue reading “Apples, Apples, Apples!”

The Last Days of Summer

Hi, everyone!
Grandpa says today is officially the last day of summer, and we had some summer weather again this week! On Wednesday, Grandma and Grandpa took me to Corbett’s Glen. That’s a park in the valley of Allens Creek. It’s a little hard to find! We had to walk under a railroad bridge and go past somebody’s house to get there! The creek gets into the park the same way we did. Continue reading “The Last Days of Summer”

Sails and Rails

Hi, everyone!
Last weekend, Grandpa got a repair kit and fixed the leak in Godzilla that Uncle Steven found. I helped Grandpa inflate Godzilla and Godzilla stood right up! There was a nice sailing breeze, so Grandma and Grandpa took me out for a sail. Look at how far the sailboat heels over when there’s a nice wind! I got to help Grandma trim the jib and then I helped Grandpa steer the boat. Continue reading “Sails and Rails”

A Long Weekend with James!

Hi, everyone!
Last Friday Uncle Steven and Aunt Kara brought James out to Sodus for the weekend! James brought his lion, and we’re getting to be good friends! After lunch, we all took a ride to Burnap’s Farm Market. While Grandma and Aunt Kara bought heirloom tomatoes and melons and lettuce, we lions and Uncle Steven and James went to the wooden train in the play area.
